The 2005-06 season for the Women's team has been so far so good.  With some new players who love the game and leadership from Jenn Connell and Jaclyn Maag the women look poised to finish the same way they sit right now - in First place.

 

The men's team is struggling against tough competition in the Coast Soccer League Major Division.  At the mid season break for the Raul Briones League Cup the men are 2-3-3 (W-T-L).  While mostly dominating play on the field they are still looking for someone to step up and score some big time goals to lift them out of the bottom of the Major division. 

 

Both teams have seen excellent growth in their players through the Sports Ministry program led by Jenn, Jaclyn, Matt and Paul.  Following our theme for this season "Know Where You are Going" based on John 14:5-6, the players are being challenged to look into the Bible to find answers to tough questions in life.  In doing so our prayer is that God continue to guide every Seahorse into a full life through Jesus.  You can follow each teams progress at www.coastsoccer.org (Men) or www.ocwsl.com (Women).
