Paul Shedd (Seahorse Staff)  along with 11 people from Suncoast Community Church in Largo, Florida headed down to Tecate, Mexico May 16-May 20. They partnered with  Pastor Juan and his seven month pregnant wife Marbella in hosting a two a day Bible School for children.  What a delight it was to partner for 3 days in sharing Jesus with close to 50 children from Tecate.  The group led by Pastor Kevin and his wife Connie were magnificent with the children and with all the Mexican people.  Connie had written the Bible curriculum—Heaven’s Hero (based on passages from Revelation). Celia had translated it and taught it.  Marbella was very involved in the teaching of the stories also.  Bob and Vicki worked with the crafts.  Lauren was so patient with the children who clamored for lots of attention.  Seth, Bethany, Josh, Caleb and Thomas were awesome in helping out where ever and in playing the beautiful game of soccer.

 

The highlight of the tour had to be little Luis—a terror like few others—accepting Christ and  Christ changing his attitude and actions immediately.  II Corinthians 5:17 came alive in Luis; "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is come.”
