Futsal Thanksgiving Tournament
This is a time when various soccer ministries that are going on throughout the area come together in one place and fellowship together. It is also a place where good soccer is played with some wonderful goals scored and some fabulous goalkeeping. An estimated 500 people either played or cheered for their favorite team!
Players Sam Ortega and Jeff Pulley shared their personal testimonies. Other Seahorse players ministered the love of Christ by refereeing, playing, making friends and talking with others. All in all, it was a very exciting night where God was honored and glorified. Let us keep praying that the seeds that were planted will grow in each of our hearts.
As a follow-up to this event there will be an International Tournament on January 6, 2007 with U12, U15, and Men’s Open Categories. On January 28th there will be a Church Centered Sports Ministry Conference (details TBA).
