The first round of games finished pretty close with the Seagulls gaining the #1 seed after 2 wins and 1 tie.  In the semi-finals the Seagulls tied the Seahorses in regulation and went to penalties, it wasn't decided until the 9th PK which put the Seagulls in the final against Romanian Baptist.  Unfortunately, the Seagulls didn't have anything left after the tough semi-final and lost 13-3.  In the 3rd place game, Romanian Baptist B went on to beat the Seahorses with an impressive display of goals from the young Alex who won MVP honors for the night.

 

Juan Mares of the Seahorses shared with us during the intermission his trials and the grace he has received from God through his time playing with the Seahorses.  It was a blessing to hear how Jesus changed his life and how Juan has grown in his relationship with Jesus through the years.
