In 2010 we took for the first time our PDL team to partner with missionaries in Rosarito, Mexico. As we went back this year we learned how our visit last year had opened the doors for the Godwins, our missionary partners, to minister and befriend new contacts in their “third church,” their soccer ministry.

They were very excited and delighted to have us back. After another God blessed trip of ministrywith them, we came back seeing further “growing blocks” of ministry taking place there. We learned that the head referee of the soccer complex where we played in a tournament is desirous to meet to have Bible studies with our players and our missionary partner, Don Godwin.

We also heard of the owner of the complex being so positive about the tournament that we help set-up wanting to do this tournament next year and not charge for the use of the facilities! All this has grown from the behavior and testimonies of our guys while competing in a high, intense environment and showing, living out the love of Jesus!
