TODD ELKINS HEAD COACH
Coach Elkins comes with a formidable record as a player and as a coach. His playing days had him at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, where he earned All-American honors. Post college days had Todd playing for the Charlotte Eagles USL winning the championship in 2000. He then helped get the PDL program started for the Seahorses as a player from 2001-2004. He then took over the head coaching position from 2005-2013. Todd has been to 25 countries on mission’s trips which brings with
DYLAN MARTINEZ ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Martinez comes with a rich playing and coaching background. Dylan played at from Biola University from 2000 – 2004 and is one of our very own Seahorse Alumni from 2003-2005, with an "out of retirement season in 2013. At BIOLA Dylan is the All-Time Point Leader with 122pts (51 goals, 20 assists), and helped in leading BU to first GSAC Conference Championship in school history. He was also a USL Player of the Week 2005 with Seahorses, and played professionally in the Bolivian Premier League with La Paz F.C. (2006). He is currently the Assistant Coach at Biola University and has a total of 16 years coaching experience at youth, HS, and college levels.
CODY SUPPE GOALIE COACH
Cody was a standout goalkeeper for UCR. Cody is also a standout alumnus of the Seahorse Soccer Team. After "hanging" up his boots Cody has become a successful entrepreneur and businessman. In spite of his busy schedule he still finds time to help coach the Seahorse goalkeepers.
MARK SCHROCK GM
Mark Schrock is an Alumni of BIOLA University (or as it was known then, BIOLA College, but we won't talk about that) and was the first All American Soccer player from BIOLA. Born and raised in Argentina-soccer is in his blood. Mark was also on the founding board of Missionary Athletes International (Seahorse Soccer's father organization) and has been on staff with MAI since 1993. This will be Mark's 8th year as GM.
PAUL SHEDD SPORTS MINISTRY TRAINER
Paul Shedd was born in Bolivia and grew up in Chile where he developed his passion for soccer. He was the leading scorer his last two seasons at Ben Lippen High School (Asheville, NC.a 1960-70's prep powerhouse) netting 37 goals. He then attended and continued his career at Wheaton (IL) College.
Paul has over 20 years of coaching at several levels, including but not limited to: 3 High School State Championship titles, assistant PDL coach, work abroad in several countries (including having lived in Tanzania, East Africa) and much more! Currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida working with African children.
