2008 marks the 25th anniversary for the Southern California Seahorses.  We have some great things planned to highlight this momentous year.  Be sure to check the Calendar for all of our upcoming events including specific dates, times and locations of all events.  Below are a few of the highlights for the first few months of this year (click on icons for more info on each item):

	The Seahorse Premier Development League (PDL) team competes in the highest level minor league in North America.  Players are regularly signed to professional teams after playing a year or two in the PDL.  The Seahorses will be returning for their 8th season in 2008.  For schedules, tickets, group programs or even to tryout for the team click on the logo at left.
	Seahorse Soccer Camps have been going strong for 25 years!  In celebration of that we are restructuring our camps and stuffing them full of excellent soccer development, fun and exciting Bible Times and of course the puppets will be there.  Look for camps this summer in La Mirada, Fullerton, La Habra, Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Santa Ana/Tustin, Azusa and Hanford.
	International Tours are a huge part of the ministry of the Seahorses.  Every year we look to partner with Churches, missionaries and groups in developing soccer countries to share the love of Jesus Christ through our common love for soccer.  In 2008 we will go to Mexico, Japan and Peru.
	The Seahorses will be performing a few school programs in the coming months.  Please view our calendar to find out where.  If you would like to have the Seahorses come to your Christian/Private/Public school to run a chapel/assembly/program please contact our office and we would be happy to develop a program that works for you.
	After school programs in La Mirada and Fullerton are still going strong.  Join us as we focus on bettering our skills, having fun and learn what it means to glorify God on and off the field.  Only a couple weeks left at the Seahorse player development academies.  If you want to get involved in these programs next time please keep an eye out for future dates for our player development programs.
	Join the Seahorses every Tuesday & Friday morning at Whittier Area Community Church for fast paced Futsal in their gymnasium.  We begin at 7:30am with a short Bible study/devotional and prayer.  WACC is located at 8175 Villaverde Dr in Whittier.  For direction go to the WACC website.  All are welcome any skill level - even homeschoolers high school and up.
	Annual Golf Tournament - The 2008 Seahorse Golf Classic will be held once again at Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia.  The tournament will be in the fall, please check back soon to sign up yourself or your team online
